Indonesian Art - Kettle Drum

Drums like this have been made in Indonesia since the Bronze Age. First brought to Indonesia from the area of Tonking and northern Annam close to the village of Dong-Son, drums like these and other bronze artifacts had an important influence on the culture of Indonesia. These drums were cast by either the lost wax process or by the use of stone molds.
