This is a typical example of the folk art on the Isle of Lombok--rather dark, antiqued and yet whimsical. Used for sound and decoration on the small horses that pull carts which carry people on the Isle of Lombok in the Indonesian Archipelago. The Wooden Horse Bell is made of wood then painted and the bells are hand-forged brass.
